I am still Here !!!!!

The last few months have been very uneventful here. I am currently reading Don Quixote. Which I have been reading since about Thanksgiving. No major catastrophes here. For the most part everyone has been relatively healthy. Marie can't wait to take out her studs and put in one of many earrings that she received for her birthday. Katherine is getting ready for her second grade program.( I'll post it about it later I promise.) Lizzie is finally registered for school and she can't wait for it to start. Sarah, well she is very interesting. She likes to do things that her sisters are doing. She loves to give hugs and kisses to everyone. I hope this helps.

Katherine is Eight

Here is Katherine with her Grandma and Grandpa Eddington on her big day.
Sorry for this late post. It has been crazy around here lately. So it started out with her friend party. She had her friends had fun playing games and eating cake. After her party her cousin Kayla stayed after for dinner and the family party. They had such fun. They don't have many chances anymore to just play by themselves much .

Here is Katherine with some of her friends from the party.

I think they had a fun time.
Here is Katherine on her Baptism day with Grandma Thomas and Granddaddy #2. I am glad that. They were able to attend her special day.

Here is Katherine in her Baptism dress. She had fun trying on dresses. When we went dress shopping, she tried on a lot of dresses. I carried in an arm load of dresses for her to try on. I think that she loved every minute of it.

Here are Katherine and Brian before she was Baptized. I am so glad that she made the decision to be Baptized.

October Fun

October is such a fun month. First comes my birthday. Then General Conference, which I love to listen to the General Authorities and President Monson speak. Then there is UEA is always fun because the kids can enjoy some of the last good weather for awhile. Then there is APPLE PICKING TIME.!! Which I enjoy doing. I think the last time I went apple picking was when Katherine was a toddler. It was so much fun seeing some of my aunts and uncles and my grandma. I Love her so much she is an amazing woman. After all of the apples are either eaten or turned into some yummy apple juice. It is time to Trick Or Treat. Here is Lizzie in her Halloween costume. She was excited to be a pink princess riding a unicorn Pegasus.

Here is Lizzie picking apple at Great Grandma's house. She had so much fun. Picking apples at my grandmas house brings back so many fond memories when I was my kids ages.

Here is Marie helping out Sarah

Sarah was so happy that she got to help out too.

Katherine reaching for some apples. She wanted to help get some apples.

Here is Sarah dressed as a fairy. This was a last minute costume. A couple of days earlier when I was pulling out the costumes for Katherine and Lizzie but, when I pulled out the lion costume that the others wore when they were Sarah's age. Sarah didn't want anything to with it.

Just before trick or treating in our neighborhood on Saturday, we attended the West Bountiful 5th Ward's Trunk 'n' Treat the girls had fun. I think all in all this October had to be on of the best .

I am still alive!!

My darling daughter said to me " Mom, you need to update your blog because people are starting to think you are dead in the blogging world." So Marie here is a new post. Also I have been tagged so here are my answers to the following questions.

1. Milk or Dark Chocolate?

Both. Milk Chocolate is when I don't need it. Dark Chocolate is for when my kids are totally stressing me out.

2. Favorite Color?

Navy Blue.

3. Do you have any creative hobbies?

Yes I do. They are cross stitch and scrap booking.

4. What was your favorite subject in school.

My favorite subjects in school were History and English/Literature.

5.Favorite Season and why?

My favorite season is Fall. I guess the reason Why I like Fall is because of changing leaves, I get to wear my cozy comfy sweaters, and all good holiday foods.

6. Who inspires you to sing like crazy when no one is around?

Any song by ABBA. Also some select country songs depending on what I am doing and the mood that I am in.

7. What is your favorite dessert ? Can you make it?

Ice cream and cheesecake. Nope can't make either of them.

8. How did you learn to cook?

Maybe my mom taught me and trial and error.

So now I have a new post. I hope everybody will be happy and if you haven't been tagged, you are it.

This Summer

This was one busy summer. We did many things one would normally do in the summer. We also had some down time too. We went to the Lila Eddington Reunion. Which was really fun to go to. It was nice to catch up with my Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins that I don't get to see very much of anymore. My kids enjoyed playing with their cousins and hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa.

My dad was in charge of this year's reunion, he did a Geo Caching type of activity. My Grandma did a treasure hunt for the younger kids after lunch. As always the last day was the hardest because of all the fun everyone had.
My kids did some of this, Hanging out in the wading pool.

We celebrated the Fourth of July attending one of these.

Marie did a Lemonade stand. This one made a TON of money, but she had a helper too. So I think we had a fun Summer. We were able to make it to the Battle of the Little Bighorn Battlefield and Yellowstone. (which is my favorite National Park!)

Our Fourth of July

Since the Fourth of July landed on a Sunday we had a weekend full of activities. First was a trip to the Zoo on Friday. It was military appreciation days, So we got in for free, which is very nice. Then on Saturday we spent the morning at the West Bountiful parade. We sat in our usual spot in front of Pony Haven. While we were waiting for the parade to start the girls were given free pony rides.

It was neat to see Marsha in the parade. This year she was part of the Grand Marshal's float.

Here is our little party. Waiting for more of the parade to pass us by.

Here are Lizzie and Sarah waving. It was so fun to watch Sarah this year. She definitely got into the parade spirit by grabbing candy and waving.

Here is more waving at the parade. Sarah loved waving her flag. They sure had a fun time at the parade.

Here are the girls enjoying their Popsicles. I think that they all had fun at the parade. Then after the parade, we then headed over to the West Bountiful City Park to see what kind of activities they had planned for after the parade. It was a disappointment. After that we headed over to my parent's house to have a barbaque and swimming fun with cousins and have a killer water fight. I think that Marie is part fish, she and her cousin Dalin were one of last ones out.

That was one of best Fourth of July's that I can remember.

Our Trip

For the past few months Brian has been working crazy hours and this weekend was one of the few weekends he has had off in a while. So we decided on going on a quick trip up to Little Big Horn Battlefield. On the way there we stopped at Independence Rock. I kind of remember going there when I was about eight years old on the way to Miles City MT. It was quite neat to see it.

Here is another picture of it I thought it turned out nice.

This picture was taken on the walking trail at Little Bighorn. It was a nice little walk. I really enjoyed being able to see it. All throw out the park there are markers as to where they believed that people were killed. Some of the markers were right close to the ridges and the roadway. We visited the park on June 25th and the battle took place on June 24 and 25 in 1876. I thought it was kind of neat to visit a place when an event took place. Somewhere near the park they had a reenactment of the battle. We didn't see that though.
Then on Sunday we made our way to Yellowstone. This trip was pretty uneventful as we were not constantly stopping for puking kids, potty breaks, and extremely messy diapers. While in Yellowstone we saw a total of 5 bears. We also got stuck by a Buffalo herd on the move by the West end of the park. We also got see Old Faithful erupting.
On our way home we drove around Firehole Lake Drive and saw some of the geysers there. It was a fun trip. I think that everybody had fun.
